Submission Guidelines

We follow the exact format in the main MICCAI conference. Please follow the detailed list of guidelines here for submission. Below is a short summary:

Format

Papers must be submitted in searchable PDF format using the MICCAI 2026 LaTeX or MS Word templates.

No modifications to the templates are permitted. This includes:

  • Adjusting margins or vertical spacing

  • Altering font, size, or layout

  • Modifying or removing the anonymized author section to save space

  • Page Limit: 8 pages (text, figures, tables, conclusion, acknowledgements) + 2 pages of references

  • Submissions exceeding the page limit or non-compliance with format requirements will result in automatic desk rejection

Double-Blind Review

  • SAFER workshop will follow the same review process in the main MICCAI conference by considering a double-blind review process with three reviewers per submission.

Important The anonymized author section in the template must not be edited or removed

Proceedings

Please note that the workshop proceedings will be included in the MICCAI Satellite Events joint LNCS proceedings to be published by Springer Nature.
