Biography

Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of the Data Science and AI Department at Monash University, and a co-founder of the AIM for Health Lab. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on developing computational methods for medical image analysis with technical emphasis on federated learning, disease diagnosis and prognosis models, test-time domain adaptation and trustworthy machine learning. In 2024-25 only, she contributed to several community service and leadership roles including: delivering 3 invited talks and 5+ guest lectures, serving on 20+ TPCs, acting as Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Intelligent Oncology, Local arrangement Co-Chair for the ACM International Conference on Multimedia 2024 (rank A*, >1600 delegates), Co-organiser of 2 workshops at ACM Multimedia 2024 and ACM Web Conference 2026, Website and Social Media Co-Chair for DICTA 2024, Special Session Chair at the 37th AJCAI 2024, and Session Chair for SHARE 2024. Her research work is recognised through several research publications and prestigious research grants totalling more than AUD $10m.
